Product Overview

Airvana’s ipBTS C30 and ipRNC 1610 together provide a compact EV-DO Radio Access Network (RAN) solution for mobile broadband data services delivery.  Developed using Airvana’s innovative IP-RAN architecture, the highly reliable ipBTS C30 and ipRNC 1610 platforms together support the rapid and cost-effective delivery of a wide range of broadband services.  These two products are currently being used as a part of the rapidly deployable EV-DO RAN solutions, integrated by Airvana partners.  In addition to these solutions, ipBTS C30 and ipRNC 1610 are also suitable for providing EV-DO service in enterprise and other campus environments with critical cost and form factor requirements.  In most of these solutions, the ipRNC and ipBTS platforms are co-located, and one ipRNC is typically connected to no more than 12 ipBTS units.
