Airvana Wins Massachusetts Network Communications Company of the Year and Fastest Growth in Massachusetts

At its Annual Awards Ceremony last evening, the Massachusetts Network Communications Council awarded Airvana its Company of the Year and Fastest Growth in Massachusetts Awards, recognizing a year of stellar performance and corporate growth.  In 2005, the company exceeded $100M in revenue and has been profitable and cash flow positive for 8 consecutive quarters. Airvana is the first company in MassNetComms 12-year history to win Company of the Year two years in a row.  The awards were accepted by Randy Battat, Airvana’s president and CEO, at a dinner event attended by more than 400 industry leaders.  Each year MassNetComms presents awards for exceptional achievement over the past year based on statistical information and member votes.
