Airvana Executive Addresses Key Femtocell Issues at Femtocells Asia 2010

Sessions Discuss Role of Femtocells in Mobile Broadband Delivery and Femtocell Services

(NASDAQ: AIRV) today announced that David Nowicki, vice president of Marketing and Product Management will participate in two conference sessions at the upcoming Femtocells Asia 2010, taking place March 8-9, 2010 in Singapore.  In addition, Mr. Nowicki will serve as the Chairman for the afternoon program on Monday, March 8.

On March 8 at 11:00 a.m. local time, Mr. Nowicki will present “Femtocells at the Center of the Mobile Broadband Explosion.” He will discuss how mobile operators can employ femtocells to achieve cost-effective network offload and help ease the capacity crunch associated with the unprecedented increase in mobile data usage.

Mr. Nowicki will also participate in the panel discussion “How Do Femtocell Enabled Services Differ from WiFi + GPS?”  Scheduled for Monday, March 8 at 4:40 p.m. local time, the session will give an overview of femtocell services and how operators can use these emerging applications to add value to subscribers’ femtocell installations.

The Femtocells Asia 2010 conference is presented in exclusive partnership with the Femto Forum.  The event will bring the latest updates from current femtocell deployments together with news of new operator trials, the latest equipment updates and up to date business case analysis.
